The GCSAQ hosted an Educational Day at Ballymore National Rugby Training Centre in Brisbane on 10th July with just over 60 attendees from golf and sports turf

The day started with a facility tour of the new $30M National Training Centre by Ground Manager Ben Engels which led into the Irrigation talks.  Sheldon Simmonds from Toro was followed by Steve Harris and Dean Johnson from Rainbird presenting sprinkler updates and compatibility inserts along with latest technology in central and communication systems for real time adjustments in the field and progressive thinking diagnostic tools that pinpoint the exact sprinkler or block section faults.

The second session had live demos of John Deere and Toro spray rigs showcasing their latest GPS technology with auto track guidance systems and individual nozzle control for optimum performance and product application.
