Epar and ASTMA have recently signed an agreement whereby epar will provide free EHS advice to members of ASTMA and all state golf superintendent associations.

Matt Holmes, epar Qld/WA State Manager says, “This is a great initiative from both epar and ASTMA, especially in the current COVID-19 crisis.  We are receiving calls from all around the country.  Superintendents wanting to know how they can best protect their staff, general managers wanting to know how they can best protect their businesses, and staff who want to know how to do their jobs while protecting themselves and others.  They have all been legitimate questions, and I’m pleased to say everyone I’ve spoken to has taken heed and are putting measures in place to ensure the risk of COVID-19 transmission is minimalised”.

“Of course, the EHS advice does not just include COVID-19 related questions.  A GCSAQ member can call for a chat about any other safety issue, or environmental concern.  We are not the EPA of Worksafe, but we can offer advice to help ensure you don’t get a visit from either of these regulators and keep your team and work environment compliant”.
